She earned both her Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs degrees from The Ohio State University and has been working in a university environment since. Amanda is also an Academic Counselor in the Colleges of the Arts and Sciences.

April joined the Arts and Sciences Career Services Office in March of 2008. Her professional work experiences include positions held with private sector fashion retail and data management businesses as well as public sector agencies like the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the Ohio Emergency Management Agency. April assists students looking for internships in Marketing, Public Relations, Publishing, Human Resources, Retail, Hospitality, and the Sports Industry. She enjoys helping students discover their strengths through reworking their resumes and uncovering their accomplishments.

Jennifer completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University and joined the Arts and Sciences Career Services Office in May 2006. She coordinates the on-campus recruiting program and oversees the office’s reception services, events calendar, and postings on the FutureLink system. Randy joined the Arts and Sciences Career Services Office in September of 2007. He received his Bachelor of Arts, in Psychology, from The Ohio State University and his Master of Arts in Physical Education, specializing in Sport & Exercise Psychology, from Ball State University. Randy’s primary role is helping students locate internships in the non-profit sector. Included in this role is planning for the Non-Profit Career Fair, held each year at Ohio State. Prior to joining the Career Services Office Randy worked in the non-profit sector for four years.
Stephanie Ford, Ph.D., Director

Stephanie has been with the Arts and Sciences Career Services Office since August 2005. Prior to joining the office, she was the Director of the Career Center at Wittenberg University and held a Career Counselor position with Ohio State’s Career Connection office from 1997-2000. She has a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Southern Illinois University/Carbondale and has worked in Higher Education, holding positions in counseling, career services, human resources, and course instruction, since 1990. Her bachelor’s degree is in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
Scott Kustis, Coordinator of Internship Services

After serving as the Director of Career Services at a two year institution, Scott joined the Arts and Sciences Career Services Office in October 2005 as an Internship Specialist and Career Advisor. Scott currently leads the Internship Services team and focuses on private sector internships as well as developing relationships with companies that want to develop their recruiting efforts at Ohio State.
Upon completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs from Miami University, Scott worked for several years at a private educational services company, providing study skill and academic development seminars to college students aimed at improving retention and enhancing the first year experience. After receiving his MBA from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, Scott worked in the private sector as an Intelligence Analyst for the marketing and advertising industry before returning to his preferred career path in the Education sector.

Currently, Ellen serves as an Academic Counselor in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. In this role, she advises undergraduate students with academic and life planning. As a Career Advisor, Ellen works primarily with seniors and recent graduates assisting with resume and cover letter writing and conducting a job search. She is passionate about helping students articulate career goals and strategies for success. Prior to her work at Ohio State she held positions at Columbus State Community College including teaching College Success Skills, working on enrollment management initiatives, counseling and advising students. Most recently, she served as the Coordinator for Career Assessment in the Office of Continuing Professional Education. Beyond her work in higher education, she brings experiences in a variety of professional specialties including pharmaceuticals, business and medical laboratory. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Otterbein College and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Ohio University.

As a career counselor, Tony works primarily with graduating seniors assessing their career goals, skill sets, values and motivation and then implementing a plan to incorporate those areas of interest into a career search. He received two Bachelor of Arts degrees from The Ohio State University, one in Criminology the other in Sociology, and his Master degree from the University of San Diego. Tony is also an Academic Advisor in the Colleges of the Arts & Sciences.

She also earned her Masters degree in English from The Ohio State University. Additionally, Evelyn is an Academic Advisor in the Colleges of the Arts & Sciences working specifically with students in the College of the Arts & School of Music for the last nine years.

Brandy Williams, Career Advisor

Brandy joined the Arts and Sciences Career Services Office in October 2005. She received her Bachelor of Arts, in Psychology from Capital University and her Master of Labor and Human Resources (MLHR) from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Brandy primarily assists graduating seniors by providing career guidance and support as they prepare for life after college. She also serves as liaison to the Arts and Sciences Diversity Services Office. In this role, she facilitates individualized career workshops and distributes internship and career information to the staff to share with DSO students. Brandy co-chairs the Spring Career Day planning committee, an event where 100+ employers and 1000+ students converge on campus to discuss internship and career opportunities. For fun, Brandy enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and dining out!
