ASC: Understanding CPT & OPT for International Students

Join us on April 2, 12–1 p.m. ET, for a virtual information session. We'll talk about the two ways international students can work off campus.

Prior to graduation, F-1 students may work off campus with Curricular Practice Training (CPT). Optional Practical Training (OPT) gives students hands-on experience in their major and may be completed during or within 30 days after their program of study. 

We will hear from Amanda Yusko, U.S. Immigration Specialist within the Office of International Affairs will also join the conversation, offering a guidance from an immigration compliance perspective.
