Information for Student Orgs

Is your student organization seeking a unique way to engage its membership in professional development opportunities? If so, register for the 2018 Reverse Career Fair (RCF)!

The RCF is different from a traditional career fair because the employer and student roles are reversed! Representatives from your student organization will have the opportunity to connect with companies from a variety of industries. These employers are seeking the skills you’ve developed as a student leader, including leadership, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

The RCF is also an opportunity to inform employers of how they’ll benefit from partnering with your organization for programs and events!! The RCF is open to all student organizations. Student organizations with a mission of supporting students from diverse backgrounds in particular are encouraged to attend as most of the participating employers have aggressive diversity recruitment goals.

Register to Attend

Registration is FREE!

Register your student organization.

Your registration includes a table with tablecloth, two chairs, and light refreshments. Up to ten representatives from your student organization may attend, including your leadership team.

Required Prep Session

Prior to the event, at least one student leader from each organization is required to attend one prep session. During the session you will receive information about what to expect and tips for preparing for the event. There are three options to choose from; choose only one. Each prep session is scheduled for one-hour and will take place in 352R Denney Hall. Once you’ve registered for the event, mark your calendar for whichever session you or another leader from your organization plan to attend.

  • Thursday, January 11th at 2:00pm
  • Friday, January 12th at 1:00pm
  • Wednesday, January 17th at 6:00pm

Resume Book

Members of the executive board and/or leadership team for each registered student organization have the option of having their resume distributed to the employer sponsoring the event. The sponsor will receive an electronic resume book prior to the event. Interested leaders who are registered for the event should email their resume to by Friday, January 12th. You are encouraged to have your resume reviewed by career services prior to sending a copy. To locate your career office, visit this page and select your major below the Career Office Search drop-down menu on the right-hand side of the page. Arts and Sciences students may stop by 100 Denney Hall during resume walk-in-hours.

6:00 pm to 6:30 pm = Check-in and Set-up
