Event Schedule

The Ohio State University Spring Career Fair
Tuesday, February 20, 2018 - The Ohio Union Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom and The Ohio Union Performance Hall

  • 8:00 am to 10:00 am = Check-in and Set-up
  • 8:30 am to 10:00 am = Breakfast
  • 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm = Lunch
  • 10:00 am to 3:00 pm = Career Fair
  • 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm = Teardown

Interview Day (optional)
Wednesday, February 21, 2018 - The Ohio Union

  • 7:30am to 10:00am = Breakfast
  • 8:00am to 4:30pm = Interview Day
  • 4:30pm to 5:00pm = Teardown

Lunch cards are provided on Interview day for registered employer contacts.

Interviews must be completed by 4:30pm.

Target Attendees

The Ohio State University Spring Career Fair welcomes all Ohio State students and recent graduates. It is, however, primarily marketed to undergraduate students from the following colleges (click the links to see related majors):

The College of Arts and Sciences
The Fisher College of Business
The College of Education and Human Ecology

Register for the Event- CLOSED

Corporate I: 50 or more employees - $550.00
Corporate II: fewer than 50 employees - $250.00
Nonprofit Organization or Government Agency Registration - $149.00

Registration includes a six foot rectangular table, two chairs, a white table cover, meals, and parking validation for two (2) representatives of your organization. Additional representatives may be accommodated for an additional $30.00 fee per representative, which covers meals and parking validation.

Access to electricity is available, but not always in close proximity to your table. Employers are REQUIRED to bring their own extension cords, if needed.

Interview Day Package

In additional to participating in the career fair, employers are invited to participate in next-day interviews. All interviews are held in the Ohio Union.

Interview Day Registration - $225.00

Registration for interview day is facilitated through the career fair registration. Fees for include one six foot rectangular table and two chairs. Meals, beverages, and parking validation for two (2) employer representatives are also included. ONE additional interview table is available to each employer for a $50.00 fee. This additional fee does not include parking validation or meals for additional recruiters.

Employers are responsible for creating their own interview schedules.

Interviews must be completed by 4:30pm.

Refund Policy

No refunds for this event will be granted after January 5, 2018.

Should inclement weather or another situation beyond the control of the Arts and Sciences Career Services Office or The Ohio State University cause the closure of the Ohio Union (the event venue), all participating organizations will be granted a refund of their registration fees. Because the university rarely closes during severe weather conditions, you are encouraged to call the Ohio Union (614-688-4636) should there be inclement weather on an event date.

Shipping Display Materials

For your convenience, displays and recruiting materials may be shipped prior to the career fair. Please note that the Ohio Union manages its own shipping and receiving process, and that, due to limited storage, materials cannot be accepted more than two (2) days prior to the event. 

Please note that your registration fees cover delivery of ONE package to the Ohio Union before the event. Additional packages may be shipped for $10.00 per package. You will receive a separate invoice after the career fair for any shipping and drayage charges accrued.

Directions and Parking

The Ohio State University Spring Career Fair is held at the Ohio Union (building 161 on the campus map, at the corner of 12th and High Street). Employers may park in the Ohio Union South garage, building 288, adjacent to the event facility.

Travel directions from the airport and central highways are located here.

Upon arrival at the Ohio Union South parking garage, employer representatives should take a white spitter ticket at the gate. Registered representatives will receive a parking validation voucher to be used upon exiting the garage after the event.

Please note that, due to budget constraints, parking validation will be provided ONLY to registered recruiters. Unregistered recruiters who attend the event must cover their own parking expenses.
