Information for Students

The Summer Camp and Recreation Job Fair targets undergraduate students who are seeking summer employment opportunities to strengthen transferable skills and for gaining valuable experience for a resume. Opportunities include part-time and full-time summer jobs, volunteer opportunities, internships and other resume-building experiences. The list of recruiters will include various summer day camps and resident camps, as well as employers from sports and recreation organizations.

This event is open to all undergraduate students. Students interested in pursuing careers involving working with children, counseling, events management, adaptive recreation, and human and social services are strongly encouraged to attend.

No pre-registration is required for students, but you are required to present a valid BuckID on the day of the event. You are also encouraged to prepare for the fair by having your resume reviewed. Walk-in hours for resume reviews for Arts and Sciences students are posted here. Other career services also offer a resume review service; see here for a list of career services offices.
