Students in the College of Arts and Sciences begin preparing for their lifetime of opportunity as early as their first semester on campus. The Center for Career and Professional Success (Career Success) supports students through programs and services designed to help them build their network, develop employer sought competencies, and more.
This webinar is designed to help the parents and families of our arts and sciences students better understand current career preparation practices, and know where to direct their student for answers. Whether adding summer work experience to a resume, preparing for an internship, or finessing job search strategies, Career Success connects students and industry through innovative initiatives that empower next generation leaders to achieve their professional aspirations.
This event will include an overview of the ways we serve students throughout their entire academic journey, followed by a panel discussion from three individuals:
- Jordyn Richardson, current student and Peer Career Coach
- Audrey Marcus, alumni and current mentor in our Match Mentor program
- Amanda Hamilton, Human Resources, Infoverity
At the end of the panel discussion, there will be a brief Q&A session.
